New Hampshire Lakes Association...

New Hampshire's approximately 1,000 lakes and ponds are important for many reasons. They provide important ecologic functions, a vast array of year-round recreational opportunities, and they contribute to local economies and the overall economy of New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Lakes Association (NH LAKES), a 501c(3) member-supported organization founded in 1992, is the only statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting these natural gems for our enjoyment today and for generations to come.

NH LAKES serves as a source of information about lakes and lake stewardship through educational programs and resources offered to lake/pond and watershed associations and other community groups, and through advocacy work with state legislators, state agency personnel, and other conservation groups.

NH LAKES educate and advocate in an overall effort to improve lake health and boating safety, prevent the introduction and spread of exotic aquatic species, and provide public access and a balance of lake uses.

Please explore our website or contact us at info@nhlakes.org or (603) 226-0299(603) 226-0299, to learn more about what NH LAKES does and what you can do to help!
